This tutorial assumes you've already created a Facebook account, and are logged in.
Now let's learn how to edit your account settings.
Click this down arrow in the top right corner.
Then click Settings.
Your account settings in Facebook include your real name, username, email address, password, security settings and more.
When you first go in to Settings, the General tab will be selected...
... and in the General tab you can change any of these settings.
Let's see how to change our real name. Click Edit beside the name setting.
Now make changes to your name.
To confirm the change, you'll have to enter your Facebook password, then click to save the changes.
That's it! Your name has been changed, as you can see here.
Now click the Security tab.
From here you can change such things as your login notifications, login approvals and app passwords.
You can choose to be notified by email if your account is accessed by a new computer or mobile device.
Now click the Notifications tab.
Additional notification settings can be edited here.
In the Mobile settings, you can add a mobile phone so that you can use Facebook on your mobile phone as well as from a computer.
While using Facebook is free, some of the games and apps available may charge to use some of their features. If you wish to use those, this is where you would setup your payment method for those purchases.
Now click the Ads tab.
If you click the Like button next to an ad on Facebook, that same ad will then be shown to your friends by default. If you don't want this to happen, you can edit that setting here.
This is the end of the tutorial. You now know how to edit your Facebook settings.
