WordPress is a GPLv2-certified open-source content management system at a much more technical standard, which ensures that anybody can access or change WordPress applications for free.
WordPress, in fact, powers about 40% of all Internet websites. So, in order for you to be able to log in to WordPress, you must have a website that is built with WordPress.
How to log in to WordPress.
There are two methods to help you log in to your website.
Method 1
Type in your website address on your Google address bar followed by forward slash login. for instance, if your website address is abc456.com, you will type it as abc456.com/login. So, it will appear as https://abc456.com/login
If however, you are not using WordPress on a custom domain, all you will need to do is visit WordPress.com/login and then enter your credentials.
Click enter and it will take you to the login page of WordPress. Then you have to enter your username or email address of your website and your password. You may or may not choose to check the “remember me” box.
The “remember me” box helps the computer to remember your login status for a time period so you get automatically logged in when next you visit the login page.
Proceed to click on login. If you cannot remember your password, just go down to the lost password link and click on it. You will be sent an email that will help you create a new password. So, once you’ve clicked on login you would see that you’ve been able to successfully log in to your WordPress website.
Method 2
Site in your website address on the Google address bar followed by forward slash wp hyphen admin. Still using our website example, this second method should appear like this
Https://abc456.com/wp-admin
Click enter and you will find yourself on the WordPress login page just like the first method.
Fill in your username or email address as well as your password and click login. Again, you have successfully logged in to your WordPress website.
CONGRATULATIONS! You now know how to log in to WordPress!
